Structural, Major Maintenance & Safety Inspection

Available with or without Termite Inspection

The basic one to cover your Contract Conditions

If you have purchased a property using a standard REIWA contract subject to a building inspection, this lower level inspection will cover you for anything you can revert to the seller on.

It may also be the way to go if you are aware the house needs a bit of TLC or if you are planning major renovations.

What does the Structural, Major maintenance & Safety inspection include?

Every job we do is tailored to your needs, but most inspections include, at minimum a structural, building maintenance, plumbing, safety and asbestos overview. Watch the video below for details:

Structural Inspection

The structural inspection involves careful review and appraisal of the structural condition of the home.

Our structural inspections exceed the requirements of Australian Standard 4349.1 (2007)

Safety Compliance Inspection

The number one priority is to keep your family safe, which is why a safety inspection is a must.
Our safety inspection includes but is not limited to:

  • Residual Current Devices (RCD)
  • Smoke Alarms
  • Pool Fencing
  • Balustrading
Asbestos Inspection

One in three Australian homes built before 1990 are likely to contain asbestos. If you are purchasing a home built before 1990 it is important to check for asbestos.

ProConsult’s basic pre-purchase asbestos inspection includes a thorough visual assessment of the property carried out by our expert inspector.
